Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026
Prestige AutoVault Ltd is committed to protecting your personal data and your right to privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and the rights you have over it.
Data controller
The data controller responsible for your personal data is Prestige AutoVault Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17362480), whose registered office is 67-169 Great Portland Street, London, England, W1W 5PF, and which trades from Bicester, Oxfordshire. To exercise any of your rights under this policy, or to ask a question about how we handle your data, contact us at info@prestigeautovault.co.uk.
Information we collect
We collect only the information you give us. When you submit an enquiry through our contact form, we collect your name, email address, telephone number, details of your vehicle or collection, and your message. If you proceed to store a vehicle with us, we collect the information needed to form and administer that arrangement, including vehicle and insurance details and any information you provide about access and collection.
We do not collect sensitive personal data through the website. We do not use the website to process payments, and we do not store payment card details.
How we use your information
We use your personal data to:
- respond to your enquiry and provide the information you request;
- assess and arrange storage and care for your vehicle;
- administer any storage arrangement, including contact about your vehicle;
- maintain records we are required to keep for insurance and regulatory purposes; and
- respond to queries, concerns, and complaints.
Lawful basis for processing
We rely on your consent to process the personal data you submit through the enquiry form. For any storage arrangement, we process your personal data under the lawful basis of contract — to take steps at your request before entering into, and to perform, that contract. We may also process limited data under our legitimate interests, for example to maintain security and to keep records required for insurance.
Sharing your data
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only where necessary: with our insurers and insurance brokers, with professional advisers, with enclosed transport and collection providers where you arrange transport through us, and where we are required to do so by law. We require any third party we work with to handle your data confidentially and securely.
International transfers
Your personal data is stored and processed within the United Kingdom. Where any limited processing takes place outside the UK, we ensure it is protected by appropriate safeguards.
Data retention
We keep your personal data only for as long as we need it. Enquiry data is retained for a reasonable period to respond and to keep a record of correspondence, and is then deleted. Records relating to a storage arrangement are retained for as long as necessary to administer that arrangement and to meet our insurance and legal obligations.
Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. Access to personal data is restricted to those who need it.
Cookies
Our website uses a limited number of cookies. Details of the cookies we use and how to manage them are set out in our Cookie Policy.
Your rights
Under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 you have the right to access your personal data, to have it rectified, to have it erased, to restrict its processing, to receive it in a portable format, and to object to its processing. Where we rely on your consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date above shows when it was last updated. Continued use of the website after changes indicates your acceptance of the updated policy.
